Step Inside the $4.3 Billion Resorts World Las Vegas

Las Vegas Review-Journal

The first new casino-resort built on the Strip in more than a decade opened its doors to the public Thursday night, welcoming guests with its three hotels, nine pools, 40 food spots, 3,506 rooms, and 117,000 square feet of gaming space. Some highlights: There are three distinct Hilton hotels inside Resorts World, each coming with a different price tag and level of luxury. On the fifth floor is the resort’s nine pools, spread amongst the largest elevated pool complex on the Strip. “The District” will be where the resort’s more than 40 food and beverage outlets will be located, each available to guests via the resort’s innovative On The Fly app. The app is the result of a partnership with Grubhub and allows guests to get food delivered to them anywhere on the resort’s grounds. The resort will also be home to a 100,000 square foot LED screen, located on the resort’s west tower, and “The Globe,” a 50-foot globe featuring 8,640 triangular panels stitched together to project dynamic and interactive imagery. There’s also a statue of an anthropomorphic dog and bunny couple kissing on top of a hippo. Las Vegas Review-Journal did a deeper dive here.
